Submission Deadline Extended to December 31st!
Nebraskans for Abortion Access + BFF Omaha are joining together to advocate for abortion access & awareness in rural Nebraska through local artist-designed billboards. This project will create advocacy, identify available resources, and spread awareness for abortion access in Nebraska, particularly among rural communities.
Submissions are encouraged from local Nebraskan creatives, seeking tactful, one-of-a-kind, eye-catching messages that support abortion access & reproductive rights within the state. Selected artist designs will then be displayed on various billboards across the state February-April 2023.

CALL FOR ARTISTS!
- Artists may submit up to 2 original designs with or without copy that advocate for abortion access and awareness. (Standard branding elements will be added to all selected submissions post-production.)
- Design submissions will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Originality & Creativity
- Composition and Design
- Technical Skill/Difficulty
- Presentation
- Alignment with the project scope & mission
- Artist's alignment with BFF's Core Values
- Artist's alignment with BFF's Code of Conduct (to our knowledge)
- Artist's work history (if previously selected for past BFF projects)
- Submissions open October 28th - Extended to December 31st!
- Selected artists will be announced in January 2023, receive a $500 honorarium, and be included in a group exhibition at Petshop in March 2023.
- Additional marketing materials utilizing selected designs will also be created, including stickers, posters, postcards brochures, fliers, etc.
