First Friday OUTDOORS (FFO) provides monthly community building and arts engagement in safe manners that provide social distanced experiences, interaction, and education. Event-goers have the opportunity to safely participate at home through online and virtual offerings or in-person through social distanced outdoor experiences.

- Throughout my art I love to use images displayed through my day to day life. Adding bright colors to what I see helps me show the important aspects of my life.
Tom Recker (he/him)
- 'Much of my work deals with the tension caused by overlapping Queer and Catholic identities. I am interested in exploring the implications of placing sexuality at the foundation of identity, and how that placement affects queer retrospection.
Sophia Mason (she/her) @goatglasses
- I will be entering my freshman year of college at Grinnell. I’ve always had an appreciation for nature which inspires much of my art and prompts me to explore the relationships between humans and nature. Deer skulls are a motif I keep returning to when I make art. Their form is a work of art on its own, and I draw inspiration both visually and conceptually from the deer skulls.
Isabella Manhart (they/them) @iam_art.04
- As a writer as well as an artist, I am interested in the way language shapes reality, and how language evolves within societies. Art functions as a channel for critical thinking in my life and I explore issues including gender, class, and power dynamics. I will be starting my freshman year at UNO in the fall.
