PULL UP AND VIBE
Calling All Performing Artists: Be the Voice of Our 2024 Calendar! Seeking artists to Pull Up and Vibe First Friday May 3rd! Are you a poet, singer, rapper, musician, or any form of artist with a passion for making a positive impact in our North Omaha community? Pull Up and Vibe Mic Series, Events, and Festivals (PUAV) is on the lookout for talented artists to headline our exciting 2024 calendar. By partnering with us, you can not only elevate your influence but also add value to the vibrant tapestry of our community. We're thrilled to collaborate with artists who want to make a difference. |===== SOUNDSPARK Call for Sound Art Proposals =====|
SOUNDSPARK is an art event taking place during Benson First Friday on May 3, 2024 from 6-10pm. This event invites artworks centered in sound as well as works integrating any combination of the visual, conceptual and performative with the aural that activate, catalyze, inspire, and surprise. Anticipated work will likely consist of sculptures, environments, performances, and installations.
SOUNDSPARK is a sound art event and not a music event. Proposals incorporating meaningful elements of acoustics, psychoacoustics, electronics, audio technologies, listening actions, performance actions, spatialization, conceptualization, timbralization, found sound, and environmental sound are highly encouraged.
Ideally, proposals should be self-contained indoor-outdoor adaptable works. Curatorial decisions regarding the location of works will be at the discretion of the organizers.

Call for Teaching Artists in ResidenceIntroducing monthly Teaching Artists Residencies at Trudy's!
Open to any art class subject! All age-ranges! Flexible time frames! Stipend and supplies provided! Teaching Artists in Residence made possible by the Nebraska Arts Council and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment. Additional support provided by Mayor Stothert's Neighborhood Grants.
