As part of BFF Omaha Inc.’s ongoing art programming, this marks our third annual community ofrenda in Omaha.
We gather to honor loved ones through a public and open ceremony featuring live traditional Mexican huapango music.
🕯️ Participate: You may bring a photograph of a loved one to place before the music begins.
🎶 Music: Performed by José Trujillo (Silao, Guanajuato) with guest musician Connor Luedtke.

Weirder, Wilder, Witchier transforms Lori Elliott-Bartle’s small accordion art books into large, hinged wood panels that read as visual spells and meditations on nature, ritual, and transformation. The work celebrates intuition, texture, and the wild beauty of the natural world.
