Programs

BFF Omaha’s programs support artists and community through events, education, and creative placemaking rooted in the Benson Creative District. From First Fridays to neighborhood infrastructure, hands-on learning, and artist opportunities, our work is designed to be accessible, artist-led, and responsive to the people and places we serve.

Our Spaces

Petshop

Petshop houses affordable artist studios, community galleries, event space, and BFF’s headquarters. Its galleries and studios act as incubators for emerging artists, experimental venues for established creators, and welcoming spaces for everyone to engage with art.

Non-Traditional Spaces

BFF Gallery

BFF Gallery features artist exhibitions and community partnerships with a focus on supporting local artists, as well as aligning exhibitions with BFF’s core values (AEIOU). A private artist studio is also located inside the gallery.

Trudy’s

galleryTrudy’s is home to artist studios and education facilities. Branded as a faux diner, Trudy’s comes alive on First Fridays when artist studios open, all-ages art education is offered, artists exhibit on the walls, and the “coffee’s always on!”

In addition to our primary galleries and studios, BFF Omaha helps coordinate and curate exhibitions and artist opportunities in a variety of non-traditional spaces throughout Benson. These locations offer artists flexible, accessible ways to share work during First Fridays and beyond, often embedded in everyday neighborhood spaces.

MaMo

MaMO Gallery, curated by VIY, is a 42’ long semi-trailer converted gallery that focuses on transformative installations, interdisciplinary exhibitions, and providing immersive arts accessibility to surrounding communities.
